weekly tips (updated weekly)
tips from the past weeks.

this is a pouch that can be easily made, but has many uses.

  1. step to making a ductape pouch
  2. you must first decide on how long you want this pouch to be.
  3. onceo yu have that, oyu must pull a strip of ducttape that is 4 times as long.
  4. now you must fold the tape in half, sticky side to sticky side, and make sure the sides are lined up,(note this may take a few tries, but youll eventually get it)
  5. after folding, you must fold this in half. (pic 1)
  6. now you must decide on how large you want it, this is determinig how wide you want this pouch to open.
  7. when you got that, you need soemthign that is that sizes, you can use pices of cardboard taped together, your fingers, or anything, i used a matchbox in the picture (these are great for them, as they will help to keep the matches dry.) (pic 2)
  8. now oyu must loosley wrap ductape around the top, then do this at the bottom, or untill the whole thing is covered. (you must wrap it around it, like wrappign a mummy)

this is an otional step, but will improve the pouch.

  1. now that it is wrapped, you will notice on the inside there is sticky side of ductape on the edges, well you can fix the problem one of two ways.

       option 1

  • you can take ductape and attempt to put it on the inside to cover this, or you can also use paper or what ever.

option 2 (this is a bit more tricky, but i prefer this, as you might also)

  • you need to fold the pouch inside-out.
  • to do this.
  1. take your thumb and puch one corner toward the top.
  2. now take your fingers (while still holding that corner with your thumb) and pull the top down, towards the corner.
  3. now use your other thumb to pull up the other corner.
  4. now jsut push all of them, (the corners and the top) towards each other.
  5. now jsut work it till its finished.(should look tliek the third pic, the sticky side is outlined in green.) (pic 3)
  6. now cover the outside, formerly the inside with ductape.
